MEET THE TEAM
Envision Peru is led by Rich & Elisa Brown, under the umbrella organization of IncaLink. Started in 2005, IncaLink began in Peru as a growing network of youth leaders in Peru, Ecuador, and Colombia. The plan: To connect youth groups in North America with youth groups in South America through Short Term Missions. They are called to reach the 300 million youth in Latin America with Christ’s irresistible love. Rich and Elisa have four children: Olivia, Michaela, Josiah, and Alexa. Born and raised as missionary kids, Rich and Elisa Brown found each other in high school at the Alliance Academy in Ecuador. The two were married on June 23, 1990.
ABOUT THE SITE
Envision Peru is located in the city of Trujillo. Our goal is to connect North America and South America and together work in compassion and construction ministries. We are firm believers in building relationships with the nationals at building projects and ministry sites. All these work projects are nicely mixed with cell group ministries, Compassion International opportunities with children, evangelism, and church growth.
We like to refer to Short Term Missions as a Spiritual Transformation Ministry because it is more than “tourism missions trip.” It is a chance for God to work in ones life and continue building the Kingdom of God.
Peru is a country rich in tradition and diverse cultures. Most Peruvian people are Mestizo, which is a combination of European ethnicities. Their complicated history is deeply ingrained in Peruvian philosophy, from family structure to religion. The main religion is Catholicism.
