Chris & Jamie O'Dell have been serving in Taiwan as Envision Site Coordinators since 2008. Jamie came first, by accident. She was supposed to go to Turkey on a short-term missions trip but the trip was  switched to Taiwan. She led the team and went back three summers while she was at Crown College. Chris was on one of those teams. He was supposed to go to Thailand, but the leaders felt God was calling him to Taiwan, so he responded. Chris and Jamie started dating and got married one year later. While praying for direction after graduating, they received a phone call from Envision, inviting them to move to Taiwan. They accepted, and have provided expert leadership and vision to the site ever since! They serve with their two sons, Enoch and Noah.

Jesse Wagner first joined the Envision Taiwan team in 2013 as a one year intern at the behest of his former college roommate, Chris O’Dell! After his first year in Taiwan, he went back to the States for a bit and then returned to Taiwan in 2015 to serve as a Site Associate. Jesse now takes tremendous care of our teams and interns. From the first inquiry form, to monthly check-ins, to final debriefs, Jesse ensures that our on-site team is well taken care of and in a healthy place to engage in effective ministry.

Sarah Mabee came to Taiwan as one of the first Envision interns in 2009 after completing her degree in cross cultural studies at Toccoa Falls College. Sarah has been instrumental in providing leadership and vision for the Aroma Church since its conception in 2012. She took on the role of Envision Site Associate in 2015 and has continued to provide her expert eye for detail in church administration and Envision matters ever since.

Taiwan is a small island off the south east coast of China. Taiwan has more temples per capita than any other nation in the world, and it's also home to Taipei 101, one of the largest buildings in the world. The Aroma, one of the first ever Envision sites, decided to plant itself right in the middle of where these two worlds collide. Envision Taiwan is located in the middle of a shopping center and entertainment district called Ximen (pronounced "she-men") that is also home to a large number of temples. The model is a coffee shop/church plant with the vision to use this model to plant churches all over Taiwan. Learn more by heading over to their blog.
